As Director, Web Product & Strategy at WMG, my primary responsibilities included managing both internal and partner roadmap priorities for several independent product teams.

For the global website platform team, I worked with label business leaders and marketing teams to develop a clear roadmap for website capabilities and integrations. I coordinated with designers, developers and their project managers to deliver new features and enhancements to the company's hundreds of brand websites.

For the global audience and insights team, I managed the relationships with several enterprise technology partners. Responsibilities included influencing their product roadmaps and priorities to best serve WMG's interests, ensure adherence to compliance and accessibility standards, and architect and test data acquisition integrations to internal systems.

Among my accomplishments:

➜ Increased ongoing first-party data acquisition +30% by successfully influencing the roadmap of enterprise technology partners to integrate WMG data warehouse.

➜ Partnered with WMG’s sister company SongKick to successfully integrate live streaming events and scheduling functionality on all brand websites in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

➜ Enabled greater access to centralized social content aggregation by replacing internal scripts with self-serve SaaS platform, improving time-to-market, capabilities and support.

➜ Implemented digital adoption platform (DAP) to ease institutional adoption of new web-based tools and services.

➜ Contributed to early ADA accessibility audit, strategy and tooling.

➜ Piloted early-market Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered “alt text” module for Enterprise Drupal.

As Director, Label Technical Services at WMG, my responsibilities grew beyond just Warner Music Nashville and Word Entertainment to being a key player and influencer of the global web strategy and services team within WMG. We provided best-in-class digital marketing tools and services that enhanced fan experience, increased engagement and improved conversion rates across the global audience of label brands.

Among my accomplishments:

➜ Significantly improved Core Web Vital scores and developer efficiency by designing, building and implementing “Starter Site” templates to allow developers to build artist sites faster (from 3 months to 3 days) while providing a faster loading site and improved fan experience.

➜ Successfully managed the implementation of Akamai CDN/WAF products into the global website platform to greatly reduce bandwidth costs while improving uptime and overall security posture.

➜ Managed the successful migration of multiple disparate Github accounts across multiple development groups onto a single Enterprise Github instance.

➜ Designed and managed the creation of content automation tools that saved content managers precious hours during the final stages of an artist's website launch.

➜ Introduced “Responsive Web Design” concepts to the global web platform team - setting the standard for mobile-friendly and eventually mobile-first website design and development within the organization.

➜ Led initial efforts to explore gamification mechanics, fan profiling and personalization in the music marketing space.
